Researching Bradbury's of Macclesfield
« on: Thursday 28 October 04 08:42 UTC (UK) »

I am researching my family tree, BRADBURY - I have obtained the 1881 British Census which shows JOSEPH BRADBURY as HOH, living at Eaton Bank Macclesfield, with Wife Harriet, and six children Oswald, Gertrude, Harrietta, Bertha, Bertram, Roderick...Joseph was my GGGGF.

Now, I know that Joseph (b1844) was himself one of Eleven children, and the son of John Bradbury b1793 (married to Elizabeth Knight) - Joseph's brothers and sisters were William b1815, Ann b1817, Lucy b1819, Martha b1823, Eliza b1825, Caroline b1827, John b1832(?) Mary b1839, Nancy b1842, and Susan b1849.

Do any of these names make any connections? Can anyone throw any more light on John Bradbury b1793? Did he have any other siblings?

I have my complete tree on the genes reunited web site if anyone wants to make contact
