looking at a modern map of Hereford, Bewell Street is on the junction of the A49/ A 438. Near to Victoria Street.

In 1914 Bewell Street is described as thus in a Directory:

I have Bewell Street as place of residence on an 1841 marr. cert. also Elizabeth Place.
