  Any information about this family would be welcome.  So far I have a JOHN BATES (bn abt 1772), wheelwright, married to BETTY MATHEWS and their children.  If anyone has researched, or knows anything about this family, I would like to have contact with them. I understand that possibly some time this year someone was enquiring about this family at the church in Kintbury. Names their children  are connected to are: RANDALL, HART, SMART, BRIND, possibly SUGDEN, all in Berks.
John is my great great grandfather and I have not been able to get back past him. Thanks.
