My Mum made me pretty frocks

Hi Nadine
I get 'built with Net Object Fusion' as an underlined link when I view it.
It could be something to do with teh browser settings at your work.
I am planning to take the logo from the site that I am designing. I don't approve of free advertizing when I've bought NOF9

Hi Dinie,
an explanation but no solution
when I look at the source text from your site, I see <<IMG ID="BuiltWithNOF" HEIGHT=39 WIDTH=80 SRC="file:///C:/NetObjects Fusion 7/User Sites/Mark & Gascoyne Tree/Assets/BuiltWithNOF.gif" BORDER=0 ALT="BuiltWithNOF" NOFINSIDE="~! ~!" >
the bit in bold print shows that it is linking to a file on your computer, not on the website. So when you are viewing from your computer, the image can be found, but when you try from any other computer it won't be found.
You have to upload this image as well, and somehow (I don't know NOF) make the link relative to your website.

Hi again.
It should be in the Assets folder when you publish locally.
NOF's ftp does't seem to work with RC - see other threads on Free webspace.
I think Kerry and Julian's sites both have the logo though.

Not sure of NOF 7 Nadine but I can remove it from each page by just selecting and deleting from the home page and then repeat page layout in Properties.
Interesting that you've had no probs uploading - both Kerry and Julian said they had.I'm nearly ready to do a big change so
We'll just have to see. Wonder when Bob's going on holiday

It's at the top left now in the space that they leave empty by default!
perhaps we should start a NOF club

Hi Nadine,
The problem seems to be that the logo has disappeared off my page, but there is still html code the HTML code is telling the browser "what goes where" so there will always be HTML code
Your problem is that the HTML code is saying that the image, which it is trying to show on your webpage, is on your computer, whereas it should be telling the browser that the image is on your website.
So, if you are not accessing the website from your computer, then the HTML code can't find the image

Original Title: Net Objects Fusion - Version 8
If you are in the UK and you've been using Net Objects Fusion 7, or considering using it to build a website, you may want to know that Net Objects Fusion 8 is now being made available on magazine cover discs.
The August 2006 edition of Personal Computer World has Net Objects Fusion 8 on its cover disc - both the CD and DVD editions.
"Upgrading" from Net Objects Fusion 7 looks quite easy as you install version 8, leaving version 7 in place. This means you can experiment with the newer version while leaving your original work intact!

And for £70 extra you can get NOF 9 - lots more goodies and much, much better - problem is, I'm still playing.
NOF is far better than Dreamweaver (although I do have Studio 8 ). Is easy to use and just wonderful.........
And TQ Falkyrn for sending me you free NOF 8 all those weeks ago and to Julian for encouraging me

I'd go along with that Gadget! I have had extensive use out of Dreamweaver but NOF9 is so much easier to use and intuitive.
I just need to crack the FTPing which I did through Dreamweaver last time because I just could not get it to work in NOF! Hmmmm
