[size=10pt]I'm looking for any information on James Hogg. His wife was Jannet Paterson. His date of birth was 19/2/1712. His son ,also called James, was born  in Cromarty, and his wife was ------ Hood.
I've got the parents of James (who was married to Jannet Paterson) as Thomas Oge and Ann Hosack, but I don't know if that's correct!.

Hi bozzwell,
Welcome to RootsChat. I have Hossacks from Ross and Cromarty in my tree so would be happy to compare notes if you find the answer to your question.

Regards,  Linda.
