Whitehaven Cemetery M I
« on: Thursday 04 June 09 22:49 UTC (UK) »

I am looking for an M I in Whitehaven Cemetery of Elizabeth Pyle (Pile) who died in Nov 1918 during the great flu epidemic.
As I am in Somerset and unable to visit, I wondered if anyone knows of any where on the net where there are MI's for Whitehaven posted? .......failing that, does anyone have any ideas how I can find out if there is a gravestone present for Elizabeth who is my gt gt grandmother. Her burial record at St Beghs states that she was buried at Whitehaven Cemetery and there is a possibility (as she died relatively young-49yrs) that she was buried with her parents John and Mary Doran.
Any suggestions gratefully recieved.
