these were the only births of a Thomas Morrison that I could find in Dunfermline for the period 1787 - 1855...

Thank you for this information.  Am trying to find the birth date of Robert Morrison who was born around 1818 in Inverkeithing so doubt that these would be his father as they would only be 14 or 15 years old.  The death cert (Dunfermline) of my Robert indicates Thomas and Janet Maule as his parents.
