Seeking information on the death of any Lockerbie names and dates found in this cemetery, and also Gilchrist family members (Gelkerst).

There are no pre 1855 Gilchrists listed in Kirkgunzeon cemetery. I didn't understand your Lockerbie question. Is this a surname?

Hi there,  yes Lockerbie is the surname.

I am looking for death records or burial site information for James Lockerbie and his wife Jean(Janette) Gilchrist Lockerbie.  They died between 1807 and 1840.  Either in Kirkgunzeon parish or Lochmaben Parish.

Anyone who can help me I live in the US and can't access this type of info.

Hi Susan!
I have found you a James Lockerby in Kelton churchyard (not far from Kirkgunzeon)
James Lockerby died Barend Balmaghie 1859 aged 94
wife Margaret Moffat died Kirkland 1844 ages 84
daughter Mary died Auchnagule Rerrick 1822 aged 25(husband James Doran)
son William died Bradford England1834 aged 32.
Lockerby is an unusual surname so they could be related.
I cant help you with Lochmaben as it is in Dumfriesshire.
