Hello all, Im new at this can anybody help me I am looking for more information on my Wheal family in Essex:

I Have

John Wheal Head
Sussana Wheal Wife
James Wheal Son
Lucy Wheal Daughter

All born in Fobbing essex
and
Alice Wheal Grandaughter born in Bassildon essex

This i have found in the 1881 census

But i would love to know some more information, can anyone help on earlier census?

Found these Wheal on Billericay 1861:

WHEAL   HINENGETH 4Months   1075   104   SNF
WHEAL   JOHN   37      1075   105   SNF
WHEAL   JOHN   31      1075   104   SNF
WHEAL   JOSEPH   2      1075   104   SNF
WHEAL   MARY ANN   14      1075   105   SNF
SNF is Shenfield. Reference is RG9/1075/10x
Doubt they will be the ones you want immediately, BUT may be useful in future? Seems to be two families, possibly related?
Try sending a Personal Message to Jaq as she has the index for Orsett in 1861 which may help you.
Posting their ages would be a really great help as well please Tongue

P.S. Here's how to send a Personal Message (PM):

I have quite a few Wheals in my tree from Essex and quite a few not directly related - So I might be able to help you.

If you are new to this you might not know, it is usually best to start with your parents and grandparents and work backwards. if you can ..
Do you have any definate names and year of birth? If you only have details of living relatives, it might be better to send me a personal message?
