I am trying to confirm the parents of this man born Dents Holme Northumberland June 19 1807.

I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has come across this particular person or who is researching the Wraith surname in Northumberland and Durham.

Hello Ed,
I can't help you with this William Wraith I'm afraid, but I am researching Wraiths in Northumberland and Co. Durham.
My paternal grandmother was a Wraith from Newcastle and I have traced her family back to the 1790s in Co. Durham. I will happily share any information I have if it connects with your branch of the Wraiths.
Coincidently, my other grandmother was an Ellison. her grandfather was born in Knowsley, Lancs. but I know nothing before him. I don't know if Ellison is a common name in Yorks and Lancs, may there be a connection?

Ellison is a common name in Yorkshire.

I have traced my Wraiths back to Durham <1730> and I would be happy to swap trees with you.
