The eldest known child's birth was registered in Brampton registration district (covers Farlam).

Births Jun 1855
Carruthers  Jane    Brampton  10b 336

From the IGI all baptised Farlam

JANE CARRUTHERS Christening: 22 JUL 1855
ISABELLA CARRUTHERS Christening: 19 JUL 1857
GEORGE CARRUTHERS Christening: 08 MAY 1859 
BETSY CARRUTHERS Christening: 25 MAY 1862
ROBERT TOMLINSON CARRUTHERS Christening: 26 FEB 1865

Which if a marriage did occur before the birth of the first child places it after the 1851 census (census night 30th March) and the baptism of Jane on 22nd July 1855.

Hi

Just seen this and although i have no marriage date for Ann she is the sister of my 2nd g grandmother Mary.

I have managed to get back to her Father robert abd his father George if you have any other info on the family it would be greatfully appreciated.
