Anyone have information on Hagan in the Fakenham area and Toftrees, Hempton various surrounding villages. Anyone of this surname in Norfolk or with information on this surname, please reply. Hagans would be useful as I cannot find them on the 1901 census. Can post more info if needed. Ernest William Hagan 1892-1963 m Gladys Elizabeth Yarham His Father William Hagan was married to Emily (or Agnes) Digby. No dates.

This would appear to be William in the 1881, his marriage certificate would confirm his father.

Just found that on the 1881 census, Thomas Hagon and family are living next to the Digby's. Emily Digby and William Hagan married in 1890 and have known each other since they were 12. This confirms ( nearly ) that its the right family.
