Hi Donna
Good news and bad news.
There is an MI for a John Henderson in Bo'ness Church Wynd Lower.
Unfortunately the only inscription is his name. No dates or others with him.
May or may not be yours
Best wishes Jean

Granny Dot - my great grandmother

Hi,
I'm looking for James Rae (born about 1779 - died 1832). He was Sheriff Substitute of Linlithgow so assume he'd be buried in Linlithgow. His wife Mary Ann is buried in Roseneath, Dumbarton, so she won't be with him.
Also, so far I haven't been able to track the following children down so they may have died before 1841. All surname Rae. All born between 1804 and 1823.
Mary Ann Harriet Alexa Henrietta McKenzie Alexander Catherine William
Thanks in advance for any help.
Debbie

Hi,
Hope I can jump in here.
I'm looking for:
1. Jean [Jane/t] Beath [Beath] who probably died 1851-1861.
Believe she was born c.1784 in Whitburn, dau. of John Wilson & Jean Black.
Her husband Robert Beith was buried in Whitburn 1833, but an earlier post in this thread indicates she wasn't buried in the same grave.
As at 1851 Census, she was living in Greenburn.
2. Jean's parents John Wilson & Janet Black. They were in Whitburn in the late 1700s, but I have no birthdates for them (probably b. c. 1750s).
Fingers crossed.

The only other Beith mentioned is
Janet Beith 18.6.1807 - 10.12.1890, servant of Waddells of Crofthead.
None of the Wilsons listed appear to be her parents.
Best wishes Jean

Jean,
Thank you for your help. It isn't the Jean BEITH I was looking for, but the date of birth makes me suspect she's one of the daughters I thought had died in childhood.
Many many thanks for your kindness in helping to fill a gap in the family tree.
