The KEO satellite project is due to be launched at the end of this year. The satellite is designed to orbit our planet for 50,000 years before crashing through the atmosphere for inspection by future generations. KEO will have enough storage space for messages (up to 6000 characters) from all living humans.

This should be of interest to us family historians, why not leave a message for our family descendants in the year 52,007. I guess the real challenge will be trying to limit our messages to 3 pages.  Grin
