Does anyone know the maiden surname of Harriet Farr who was married to John Farr from Caistor.
John was born in1811 and his wife Harriet 1816.
Regards
Betty

Hi,

A possibility from BMD is a marriage of John Farr with perhaps Harriet Bayes

I think it right to point to previous threads to save people looking up the same things again

Thanks GeoffE for posting the earlier threads. I had looked at the Census records and also came to the conclusion that Harriet must have died early or Margaret and Harriet were the same person.

Betty, the only way to solve this one is to purchase a few certificates. If you can trace a birth of one of the early children it would give mothers maiden name.
