Could someone please lookup the baptism of Agnes Sprott Wilson who was born on 8.12.1842 in Ayrshire to Hugh Wilson and Margaret Grant. Unfortunetly, I do not know the exact location in Ayrshire that she was was born. Any assistance anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Eramophla,
I looked for the birth of your Agnes Sproat Wilson, on the IGI, and Scotlandspeople Site, and I could not find one, not all births were registered in Scotland, pre 1855, so her birth may not have been registered. On the other hand she is living with her mother and father in 1851, aged 9 years, in Dalmellington, the 1851, index that I have her on does not give place of birth.
By the time of the 1861, census Agnes, who I reckon was the oldest child in the family is not with the family in 1861, but three of her siblings who were born after her were born in Ayr, so By deduction its most likely thats where Agnes, was born. The other four siblings were born in Dalmellington, Ayrshire.
