Kearns Family
« on: Friday 13 February 04 19:39 UTC (UK) »

Looking for any information on Thomas Kearns or his family, before he came to England.

Thomas was born in 1855 in Bray. He came over to Liverpool, England and the 1881 census shows him as a Farm Servant in Wavertree, Liverpool. He lodged with Garret & Kate Hogam.

Thomas married Mary Ann Burns and had several children including my grandad James.

Thanks

Pat

Hi Pat
I have a Kearns link possibly in Hacketstown John who married a Johanna McDonald I have found the birth of one of his children James but no other info in Ireland He was transported to Tasmania for larceny (stealing potatoes) 1846 and I'd be interested to hear if you recognise any of these names regards Chris in Tremont

Hi Chris,

The only information I have on Thomas Kearns is that he was born in Bray, Co Wicklow, then he came to England, so not sure if he would be related to your John.
