Just got back home after 10 days in Derby for marriage of daughter #2.
All I can see is Thomas Bishop m Hannah Dant of St Ives at Hemingford Grey in 1807, and Thomas Bishop widower of Hemingford Grey m Dennis Ablett at Godmanchester on 26 June 1821
A Hannah Bishop age 30 was buried at Hemingford Grey on 9 Nov 1816, but I can't see a burial of a Dennis Bishop. Was she actually Sarah who according to 1851 was born at Godmanchester c1796 (not 1786)? But it's a bit of a gap between 1821 and 1829.
Regards
David

Any tips on 'the Father of the Bride' speech - I've got my daughter #1 wedding in early September.
Reviewing 1851/1841 census - yes Thomas Bishop born 1783 & Sarah Anne Bishop born 1797 (not 1786). There's a possible death index of Thomas in 1854 St.Ives
On both census there is a John Gore b abt 1774 Doddington Cambs, living in same household - wonder if it's her father.
Also on 1851 noted that Thomas is Publican and Shepherd - keeps his flock in the cellar !

David, the Hemingford Grey PR has baptisms of following
10 Oct 1813 Susan daughter of Thomas & Hannah Bishop, Shepherd
16 Oct 1814 Edward son of Thomas & Hannah Bishop, Shepherd
28 Apr 1816 George son of Thomas & Hannah Bishop, Shepherd
that ties in with your marriage of Thomas B to Hannah Dant on 8 Sept 1807 at H G
next baptism of Stephen Bishop on 13 May 1829 says he is son of Thomas & Dennis Bishop, shepherd
... again ties in with your marriage of Thomas B widower to Dennis Ablett on 26 June 1821 at Godmanchester

On both 1841 & 1851 census it is Thomas & Sarah Bishop, with children Stephen & Harriett. Stephen & Harriett both married 1854.
There is a death index for Thomas Bishop in St Ives RD in Sept 1854.
I also found death index of Dennis Bishop in St Ives RD in March 1862
Now on 1861 I've found Harriet & husband William Everitt & their children living in Hemingford Grey, & also in household is mother in law Dennis Bishop, widow b 1792 Godmanchester.
So, Sarah & Dennis are the same person apparantly - odd that - was she named Dennis Sarah Anne Ablett....
