I am looking for the following family on the 1841 census please at Leighton Bromswold.
Head:- James Webb HAILES Wife: Sarah Son: John (bc 1836) Dau: Rebecca (bc 1839) Son: Thomas (bc 1841)

Interesting - the only James I can see has a wife Mary and different kids names in Leighton Bromswold..... also a Robert.

Thanks.. All three children were, as far as I know, born Leighton Bromswold so I assumed they would be there. The name could be spelt HALES or sometimes even HALLS..

eluding me I'm afraid - I've searched on just christian names and DoBs in the whole county (in 1841 you cant search by specific PoB ...)
Do you want to see the family I did find - in case theres a relationship ?

In Leighton Bromswold (no street address) - all Born in County (bic)
James Hails 34 Ag Lab bic Mary 30 Jane 10 Sarah 8 Isabella 2
Next door is a Robert and Mary Hails aged 60
Theres only 9 pages in the district, so I looked thru for your family - they just arent there !

It shows that there are Parishes and Book numbers missing in a major Vendors implementation !
