Thank you everyone - I have found the Henry Wilkinson to Ann Lightfoot marriage - 3 years after the birth of their 1st registered child!

I have been unable to trace Robert's birth c.1894 and now wonder if he was registered as the illegitimate son of Ann Lightfoot? Every time (3) I applied for a birth cert. I gave `Henry` as the name of his father.
We live and learn.

hello again - I think the illegitimate birth to Ann Lightfoot is the correct one - registered as Robert Wilkinson Lightfoot.  Do you agree? Especially as the Lightfoot name has been a puzzle for some time - as family stories are!
