Hello all,

I am searching for any info. on Tom Davies born c 1873 in Carmarthenshire, South Wales, who emigrated to South Africa on the Union Castle Royal mail Steamer "Walmer Castle" after 1910.

His last known address was 198 Stanton Street, Kenilworth, Tirffontein.

I think I have now found Tom Davies on the "Walmer Castle" shipping list going from London to Cape Town on the 4th October 1916.

His age and profession (carpenter) match, as well as the name, so I think it must be him as we know he went on this ship.

We also know that he married in South Africa - can anyone help me get any info. on this or a death date please?
