I am still seeking  information in relation to the wine trade 1850-1875 Stepney / Whitechapel areas. Have tried various sites and trade directories without any success so hoping for a few fresh ideas from my friends at Roots

Mainly looking for names of any Wine Warehouses and owners of same.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas (with a glass or two of wine of course!)

You would find this information in the Guildhall Library. Otherwise it would be found in Trade Directories. I suppose that Vintners Hall would have fairly complete records but they would probably be the same as those in the G.L. Cool
