Hall-Green Family COMPLETE
« on: Tuesday 08 August 06 06:29 BST (UK) »

Hi I'm looking for any information on the Hall-Green family,

My great great Grandfather was George Clark Green from Modbury, Devon.

Him and his wife I belive had 11 children one which was my great grandfather Arthur E. C. Green who migrated to Canada before finally moving and settling in Australia.

One of his brothers I belive moved to South Africa

Does anyone have any information on this side of the family?

Hi fire,
>One of his brothers I belive moved to South Africa

I'd be happy to check the resources i have access to ,  but it would be helpful to post the gentleman's name and approx year of birth if you have it.

You also use Hall-Green in your post title, yet the folks you mention have GREEN as their surname.

kind regards
Leanne

Hi i belive it was William Hall-Green that moved to South Africa,  I am not sure of when he was born or of when he migrated.  I do know that a lot of that side of the family still live there and he has a great great granddaughter that lived in london for a while named Tracey.  (she might still live there!).  That's all I know on that side of the family.

Try contacting St Andrews College, Grahamstown: I think there was a Hall-Green at school there in the 1950s and maybe there were other brothers and/or cousins there.

Hi there,
There are 2 Hall- Greens listed in the South Africa white pages. Why not contact them and see what you come up with. One of them lives in Queenstown.
