Tourlestrane Church
« on: Tuesday 20 February 07 15:20 UTC (UK) »

I believe my grandparents (and father) attended the Tourlestrane Church (near Aclare, and Banada) in the early 1900's.   I have looked for a picture and information for it on the internet and am not finding much.  Would anyone have any information on that church, or know where I could find a picture?  Would anyone know if it is still standing and in use today?

Hello kprmom,

There's a picture of Tourlestrane Church on the Sligo Heritage website  If you send an e-mail to Joe McGowan he may be able to give you some more information about the Church and possibly find a few more pictures for you. www.sligoheritage.com/archbenada.htm
