can anyone help please

I am looking for a birth of

GEORGE WALLACE born c1821 Edinburgh accoring to the 1871 census

on his death certificate his parents are listed as George Wallace [hand loom weaver]and Susan Sibbald

I cannot find any marriage for George and Susan or any birth for young George, or even any reference to a George Wallace and Susan Sibbald anywere.
so if anyone comes across these names I would be very gratefull.

Welcome to Rootschat.
have you tried Scotlands people, the IGI, Freecen or any of those sites.
On SP you pay  say £6 which allows you to have 30 credits of which in total it will cost you 6 credits to view the info.  Would suggest checking Census first within the time frame.
