1851 census info please

Scottish census 1851 - were ages rounded down? If so would someone aged 26/7 be rounded down to 20? I have recently been talking to another researcher who thinks we have the same man in our trees. I am not convinced because of the age difference (7yrs) but could she be right??

As far as I know, it was only the 1841 that was rounded down.  Mind you, some of my female ancestors did under estimate their ages  Roll Eyes
