Looking for Henry Broadley b.1824 and his brother Samuel b.1833. in Norton or Norton Lees?

Do you have Henry and Samuel on any other cencus or do you have their parents names.
If so could you post full details to make it a bit easier to find them

Hi

OK I have found them in the cencuses as Broadley/Bradley

In 1841 there is a Henry Bradley 15 as an Ag lab in Sponden

Hi,
There is the following
HO107/1334/1  Folio 5  Nether Hallham, Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorks  (Nr. to Sheffield)

Broadley  Samuel   1786
"             Henry       1826
"            Mary          1829
"         Samuel         1836

Norton is about 5 miles from Sheffield

The ages were rounded down by up to 5 years for Adults in the 1841 Census so  Henry is listed as born 1826 but could actually be between 1821 -1826.

Thanks Joe & Spendlove,
                                      I believe their parents names were Samuel & Ann(don't know maiden name!) but Henry was christened 20/06/1824. at Norton.
       I think Samuel snr. was born c.1786 but don't know where? I'm still researching date of Sam & Ann's marriage.
      By the way where is Sponden?

Hi  AJB,

You have taken the date of birth of Samuel Snr. from the 1841 Census (see previous post)
he could have been born between 1781 - 1786.

There is a marriage of a Samuel Broadley to Hannah Pailey 28th March 1815 Cathedral St. Peters Sheffield.
There is also Bpt. for a John Paley 27.9.1789 and Samuel 16.3.1794 at the same church.
I cannot find a suitable Bpt for Hannah or Ann.

In the 1841 Census John Paley Bpt 1794 - the only suitable entry of 3 for this census
is a John Paley born between 1791 - 1795 with wife Martha living in Norton, Derbyshire.

This is too much of a coincidence not to follow, as Ann & Samuels first child is bpt in Norton,
was she sister to Samuel & John?
