Hi, There is the following HO107/1334/1 Folio 5 Nether Hallham, Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorks (Nr. to Sheffield)
Broadley Samuel 1786 " Henry 1826 " Mary 1829 " Samuel 1836
Norton is about 5 miles from Sheffield
The ages were rounded down by up to 5 years for Adults in the 1841 Census so Henry is listed as born 1826 but could actually be between 1821 -1826.

Hi AJB,
You have taken the date of birth of Samuel Snr. from the 1841 Census (see previous post) he could have been born between 1781 - 1786.
There is a marriage of a Samuel Broadley to Hannah Pailey 28th March 1815 Cathedral St. Peters Sheffield. There is also Bpt. for a John Paley 27.9.1789 and Samuel 16.3.1794 at the same church. I cannot find a suitable Bpt for Hannah or Ann.
In the 1841 Census John Paley Bpt 1794 - the only suitable entry of 3 for this census is a John Paley born between 1791 - 1795 with wife Martha living in Norton, Derbyshire.
This is too much of a coincidence not to follow, as Ann & Samuels first child is bpt in Norton, was she sister to Samuel & John?
Hope this helps. Regards Spendlove.
