PhpGedView files sizes over Rootschat web file limits

I'm having trouble uploading the PhpGedView folder to my webspace, since some of the files within it are larger than the ridiculously small Rootschat limits. Any ideas please?

Hi Pari Passu,

it is possible to upload phpGedview without problems to RootsChat webspace. 

Quote
The maximum upload file size is 1 MB.
The limit for jpegs is 1 MB, for gifs is 1 MB and for HTML or Text files is 0.5 MB."

I've just sorted my phpGedview folder in order of size, and the largest files are
LucidaSansRegular.ttf  698 KB  (a font file)
LucidaSansRegular.z    384 KB  (a font file)
a php library file at 220 KB
and a text file at 231 KB

Everything else is under 200 KB, so the only place where size limitation might be an issue is the GEDCOM itself.

It seems that my site has a limit of 50Kb instead of 500Kb ! What could be wrong? I've tried uploading with Dreamweaver, Fetch and Cyberduck and the FTP manager and I get the same result anything over about 50K is not uploaded, any ideas?

sounds like a glitch  Sad

at the top of this topic you will see some leaves and branches. One of the lines say
Free RootsChat Webspace (Moderator Trystan)
click on Trystan's name to send him a PM about your problem.
