Lawrie/Fraser marriage at New Deer
« on: Saturday 19 August 06 15:10 BST (UK) »

looking for info on Alexander Lawrie (born 1855 Ellon) and his  wife - Mary Fraser (nothing known) - they were married on 4/dec/1875
at New Deer , Aberdeen.

Also interested in Mary's parents and of course any information as to if Mary and Alexander had a family would be very much appreciated -
perhaps the census records from 1881 onwards might show if they had a family and give some detail on Mary Fraser ? (I do not have access to Scotlandspeople unfortunately - otherwise I have been told this would be the first place I should look).

Any help in finding if Mary and Alexander had children would be wonderful.

regards - luc.

Hi Kenjo,

Thanks for you kind response - yes, it looks like - Vanished world is searching the parents of my Alexander Lawrie - I will contact him to see if I can help him as I have been very lucky thanks to the  help of the rootschat users  - George Lawrie and Clementina Paterson had 12 children.

However it really was about Alexander Lawrie and his wife Mary Fraser and what happened to them that I was trying to research - I have modified my earlier posting as perhaps it was not clear (my english is not perfect - so sorry for the mis-understanding) - but, it was very kind of you to respond - thanks - Luc.
