Burial Knodishall, Suffolk

Does anyone have access to the burial registers of Knodishall please?  I believe Elizabeth Ranfield was buried there on 28th April, 1768.    Believe she actually lived in Harwich, wife of William Ranfield.

If no one can help with this here on RootsChat, it might be worth contacting the volunteer who offers lookups from the Knodishall Parish Registers at The Suffolk Surname List.

Hi there

The burial is listed on the Suffolk Burials Index on the date you've given, except indexed under the surname RANDFIELD.

There's no indication of Elizabeth's abode nor any additional notes.

Interestingly, this is the only RAN(D)FIELD entry on the whole of the Index.

Thank you for your reply.   I got the info from the Suffolk Burial Index on Family History website.     I need more info on Elizabeth because I believe she is the wife of William Ran(d)field - the name is spelt differently in many records.     The family actually came from Rotherhithe in London, but a single male settled in Harwich in the 1740's and William Randfield was his son, I believe.     I think Elizabeth was his wife of just a year, because (again I believe as the name is so rare) William seemed to marry again in London a year or so later and stayed in Rotherhithe.     So all a bit complicated and I am trying to verify that I have my assumptions correct.
