could someone lookup a birth for me ,her name was MARIA/MARY CUTLER/CUTTLER, born  abt 1831 ntts, she died the 1 feb, 1890,she had married BENJAMIN SELBY  june qtr  1849. thank you.

Hello Charby,

I was wondering what makes you believe Maria Cutler was born in Nottinghamshire?
The only Benjamin & Maria Selby I could find says she was born in Loughborough and as the couple were married in Loughborough registration district makes me think I have the correct couple?
1871 census RG10/3255/12

So....could this from the IGI be your Maria?

Ooops! I get mixed up sometimes lolol. Thank you for the correction and I thank you very much for your help, this is great!

Could i ask you for more help since i,m here. I am also looking for  the birth of MARY ROSALINE FRAME  I have her born about 1865 not sure where but she married JOHN H SELBY  b 1863 loughborough.

Hi Charby,

I didn't find a birth on the IGI for Loughborough for Mary Rosaline Frame, the IGI baptisms for Loughborough cover 1813 to 1875 so although IGI isn't always correct thought there might be a chance.

Haven't found her as yet on freebmd or the years I looked for that were missing on the original images of the indexes.

It maybe a good idea to repost on the Leicestershire board that way more will see it and someone that could help better than I can?

As you know your John married Mary Rosaline Frame I was wondering what her fathers name was and occupation.....anything to help, have you found her on any census prior to her marriage to John Selby?
If you can locate her on earlier census just to check if she still gives her place of birth as
Loughborough, the more information you can give will have a better chance of finding her.
