Can anyone help with a family that seem to be missing on the 1881 census...

Looking for Edward and Agnes(s)Bowness..they are a Undermilbeck,Winster in 1871......again Middle Winster,Undermilbeck in 1891...

I have tried various spellings for Bowness,,tried various of their childrens name....but no sign of them....
In 1881 Edward would be   43/44 a shoemaker born Langdale.
Agnes would be 42/43 again born Langdale.
should have with them..
Edward aged 15, Jane aged 13  and Agnes aged 10..
Can anyone help with this..Huh

I cannot find them either.  have you checked to see if any of the census is missing for that area?

Hi Andrea......Have seen some of Undermilbeck on the 1881 (different families) but no sign of the Bowness family.....never mind i do have them on the 1891..looks possible then that some of the area was missed off the 1881.
Know this is possible because i have a area of approx 4 streets missing off the 1881 in my home town (including my GtGtGrandfather and his family..)
