William McNutt from Donegal Ireland
« on: Wednesday 03 November 04 18:53 GMT (UK) »

I am trying to find some information on William McNutt who came from Ireland (family story is that it was Donegal) to Lancashire in England possibly late 1850's or early 1860's.

William first appeared on the 1861 Census of Blackburn - Yate & Pickup Bank RG9/3111 folio 52,p8.
His occupation was Tailor and he was single aged 24.

I do know that his father was a publican nemed Andrew McNutt - no other family names.

CAN ANY ONE HELP WITH THIS SEARCH?
