Looking for more detail on Alfred Arthur watts born on 15th apr 1893, in  2 london street brighton sussex. have his birth certi but not sure what happened after that there are storys he went to cario  or sudan but then came back to brighton also think may have married a dorthory and had daughter betty but this only through other members of family tell me. can't find him after his birth so can you help

I assume you have discounted the Alfred Watts (age 8 ) living with parents Henry and Alice Watts at 26 Park Crescent Terrace in Brighton?  [RG13/928 folio 132 page 20]

What were the names of your Alfred's parents?

yes thank you this is the same person i have already got this information but i am more looking for his daughter or his wife infomation or after he left his parents

It does help if you can mention when you do have a census record, saves wasting time and the more information you can give the easier it is to help.  If you think he married in this country then you can search all the marriages free on www.ancestry.co.uk.   Choose the full version not the freeBMD one, though that is worth trying to start with.  You could also look for births.   Even his death might help as the informant will probably be a family member.  By the time he died they might be putting birth dates in the register so you will know it is him.
