Hi Can somebody Look up John Barlow born 1816 Rivington Lancashire he died sep 1871 Runcorn cheshire so presume he was in runcorn on at least the 1871 census he was a gentleman farmer i think or coal merchant but not sure any help appreciated i think he was unmarried

Thanks annie Theres no more showing up is there as he left £3000 in his will that year which if you compare to todays standards he was wealthy i wonder if a clothier and outfitter was aprosperous trade according to his brothers will in 1847 he was a pawnbroker in 1847 what a change

brilliant well i was lead to beleive he was single now i find out he married at least twice and he has a son aAlexander born bolton where i know they started off from he died in 1869 liverpool aged 23yrs its all making sense now keep em coming thankyou !!! Annie

Annie the Heywood one is a different family that alexander married at bury in 1864 mine was in liverpool then , ther is an alexander birth on free bmd for Bury reg dist 1841 that will be this heywood one i think my alexander was about 1844 to 1846 ish

now if we could just find the missing mothers name maybe we could find her death.cannot see a definate for 1841 only nearest i can find is a john barlow of correct age working in clothes factory.he has a wife margaret aged 20yrs and no kids.do you think this is a possible? they are living in bolton le moors i will give you details if you think it is a posible

Not sure about that one is there a William Barlow born 1785 Entwistle Lancashire in 1841/1851 this is his father he could be in Entwistle lancashire at Entwistle hall
