Thanks Rambler
The information you have given me has confirmed the information that i had, but it has now given me a brother that i did not know he had, which has given me a lead to follow to perhaps find Leonards family.
It is so hard to find any information, as they died so young, with most of them not having family other than their parents.
Thanks again

There's a good chance you could find some cousins (or their descendants): on the 1901 census, Lionel's father Oscar has 6 brothers and sisters, and mother Florence also has 6 siblings.  Do you want the census info?

Hi Rambler
The information you have given me is great, it has given me some thing to go at.
I think i will start and look for the marriage of his possible brother Leonard O Chell b sept 1920 see if that gives me some leads first.
You have been a great help

Hi
I have just read your inquiry about Lionel Hawkins Chell, he was my fathers cousin, I have some information about him and his family, I also have a link to a photo of his headstone in Holland which is on the Flickr website. I also have a link to the photo of William Seabridge's headstone.
This information was emailed to another lady who said William Seabridge was her uncle, maybe she is related to you, she posted a message on an ExRAF information site.
Lionel's brother was Leonard (now deceased)and loved in Worcester, his sister Margaret still lives in Stourport, as I still do

Hi Britadian
Suee is my wife and has posted this while i was at work, good on her.
Lional Hawkins Chell was navigator on the same Halifax
as my great uncle William Henry Seabridge who was at the time rear gunner.
I am trying to say the least, to obtain photo's and information of the crew and opps.
We have so far managed to get photo,s of the war graves from a very special person in the Netherlands, but no personal history or photo,s from the uk.
I realize this is a difficult matter but would like to show my respects to all of the crew.
Yes Pat is related to me, and she just wants the same.
I wish the crews family could join together and share this.

My husband is the grandson of Roland Horton Chell from Stourport. He married Gladys Mason and had two children: Alfred and Dora (my husband's mother). We are just beginning to sort out the family history and would appreciate any more information about the family.

Hi Worleystef
Thankyou very much for your responce,
its good to see you are sorting out your family history.
My Great uncle flew with your Great uncle ( is that correct ) he was the rear gunner on the same Halifax RG443 ZA-Q.
I never knew my g uncle and what he and his crew did my uncles name was William Henry Seabridge.
I have no knoledge about there private lives, but i have researched the crew, the families left behind didnt know each other.
All i am trying to do is put all the crew backtogether and show my respect.
Please feel free to ask me anything.

Ivor

Hi Worleystef,
I am the grandson of Roland Thomas Horton Chell's brother Donald Chell, I have traced the family back until about 1803 in Stourport, if I can help with your family research I would be pleased to do so.
