I counted 76 Free Rootschat Site listed on the page below:

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,23896.0.html

Can some of the owners say if their Site is being picked up by Google and other Search Engines.

Thanks.

Hi Rover,

I don't know if everybody has entered their site on that page (HINT !!!) so there are probably more than 76 RootsChatters' sites.

Some of us have a tracker on our sites, which means we can see where the "hits" come from.

I know for sure that I have had hits from Google, Yahoo and other search engines, sometimes from the text search, sometimes from the images search.

For more on getting your site "noticed" see

I still get most of my hits from Rchat plus Cyndi's list and some sites that picked up on Cyndi  Wink

My new site is less than 3 weeks old and I don't think Google and Yahoo and the others I've registered with have kicked in yet.

To date I've had 765 hits.

There are approximately 630 , Yes 630 databases set up on Rootschat.

Even if you don't use it, every user has one allocated.

It is possible to see the list but you cannot access the ones that do not belong to you.
