Do you know the distance as the crow flies, say from the border of Nth  Knapdale to Skipness ?
Just trying to figure out the difficulty of moving from one to the other in the 1700's.

Just been looking at the maps and it would be 20 -25 mls. Probably fairly easy by boat (in decent weather)
