       Trouble is NO IDEA OF THE PARISH

Info from census Richard Saunders born Kent 1811

      My 3xg.grandad
I'm probably asking for the impossible,but, who dares......

    The tiniest info would be appreciated.

Hi !!

I have found a marriage of a Richard Saunders on 30.7.1811.  St. Mary's, Lewisham, Kent.   This I guess could be Richard's parents.  (A long shot but possible).

I also have a Margaret Saunders in my family married to an Arthur Sales in 1933 Lewisham.  Could there be a connection?Huh?

         Thanks so much for info.re. (a long shot) it's the
first and only one at the moment.
   I can't find a marr. rec. for Rich. but all of his children
were bapt. at Dudley Worcs. and according to cens.
entries his wife was born at Dudley. he must have moved
to the area pre.1840

What was his wife's first name and when was their first child born, or name of children?

The reason I ask is because I am researching the Saunders in my family, so if I come across anything I can let you know.

Have you made any progress with this request yet only I notice that 1861 says he was born Dudley Worc.

RG9/2060 folio 20 page 36

1871 also says b.Dudley:

RG10/3015 folio 76 page 14

     Thankyou for replying to my posting.

No, I really have'nt got much further with Richard, except to
say that I've found a marriage entry for him on I.G.I.
7th Oct.1833          Aston Juxta Birmingham, to Mary Griffin.
       According to 1881 census R's birthplace is Kent, all a
little confusing.
            Have been told that marriages pre.1837 do not state
the fathers names, so thats held me up.
                 Any suggestions.
