1841 Census Lookup - Bennett

Can someone please look up on the 1841 Cheshire census :-

I am trying to trace an Ellen Bennett (father John) b 1801/2 Carrington, Chesh.

She may be with a husband James (or even Samuel) both ages unknown) and even maybe with children Samuel (b c 1837) and Jane (b Carrington 1834).

Possibly around Bowden, Hale, Carrington, Little Bollington, Dunham Massey areas of Cheshire.

I have details of them on 1851 already but now have a little more info to look at 1841.

That is my problem. She was born Ellen Booth probably Carrington Chesh 1801/2) then married someone called Bennett (haven't yet found details).

On the 1851 census she is named as housekeeper married with Thomas Taylor (widower) at 3 Holland St, Mcr with two children Jane Taylor Bennett (b c 1833) & Samuel Taylor Bennett (b c 1836).

Ellen did however not marry Thomas until 01/02/1852. So had her first hisband (Huh Bennett) died by 1851 - He must have.

Hi

      At the moment all I can find is a marriage at Manchester Cathedral 14/Feb/1820 Ellen Booth to James Bennett.
      Cannot find anyone for definate in the 1841 census.

Thanks anyway Peter

A relative & I will look this up probably at Manchester Library and hopefully that may give us a lead.
The one I am really trying to trace is the son Samuel Taylor Bennett born 1836/7 to see if he was a Taylor or a Bennett. My family connection is Taylor but I don't know whether he just subsequently changed his name from Bennett or not. The later generation Taylors definitely derive from him.
