Trying to find any information on Ann Shallis who married my Great Great Great Grandfather George Pannell. They were married 19/12/1836 at St Paul Exeter Parish in England. Ann later died as my GGG Grandfather married again in 1847 and came to Australia in 1850. I have no record of her death or any issue. Can anyone help.

I had a quick look through the death indexes 1837-47. Several Ann Pannell's, none in Exeter. (found Dover, Halstead, Sleaford, Marylebone)

Where did George remarry?

George was married 3 times.

1st to Ann Shallis.

2nd to Mary Osborn on the 29th March 1847 in All Souls, Saint Marylebone, London, England.

George and Mary came to Australia in 1850, where Mary died on 18th April 1852 in North Adelaide, South Australia, Australia at the age of 30 of consumption.

3rd to Mary Ann Ekers  on the 24th January 1853 in North Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.

So if George remarried in Marylebone, it is possible the death I found for Ann Pannell in Marylebone is her.
That was JFM qtr 1847, so if it is her, he must have remarried very quickly.
