Please help:
I am looking for information/ancestors of Margaret Wadge born in Wingate Co Durham in 1901--married George Alderton on 19/04/1919, and apparently the marriage did not last long!
Any information will be very welcome--thank you

Pound to a penny this is her family - but looks like she missed the 1901 census date .

Theres another Wadge family close by too, with unmarried sons ...

1901 - RG13/4701 Folio 112 Page 19 - in Sacriston

 
Tom S Wadge 26  Head Coal Miner Wingate
Jane A Wadge 24  Wife Durham City
Herbert W Wadge 1  son Sacriston

She was born at least 6 months after the census - if you order this cert, it will confirm or eliminate the above family - and give us a lead by identifying her father ..

Unless you have her marriage cert - which will also name her father ...
