Looks like a great new series starting on Sunday night, with Tony Robinson. ABC TV 7.30 (I think).
Got to be worth a look!

Caught most of it - somewhere along the way I was interrupted - He does like to go back a long way in history  Cheesy

It is rather amazing what was achieved without all our modern technology - then again, as was said,  workplace health and safety was not an issue.  Sad

I enjoyed the programme. I WAS expecting worse jobs though. There are some really good bad ones to look forward to next week. Worth watching! A programme that is entertaining, educational and a bit quirky.

Great show.
Just watched Tony Robinson,smock raised upto his neck in a wine vat full of stale urine Lips Sealed.. treading woven wool underfoot, to improve the weave!!!....he was heaving and dry wretching....so was I in the end Tongue
