HI

I'M REALLY STUCK BECAUSE MY GRANDAD GEORGE DAVIDSON TAYLOR AND MY NAN MARY JANE LYON RECENTLY PASSED AWAY AND I NEVER GOT TO ASK THEM ABOUT THEIR FAMILY SO IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME I'D BE VERY THANKFUL.I'M NOT QUITE SURE IF THEIR FROM ABERDEEN BUT BEFORE THEY PASSED AWAY THEY LIVED IN ABERDEEN BUT WHETHER OR NOT THEY WERE BORN THERE IS ANOTHER QUESTION.

I don't know if you have found anything, yet.
I had a look at scotlandspeople, and found some info,
It may not have anything to do with your Grandparents
but  you can take note.
GEORGE DAVIDSON TAYLOR, born 1893 Rathven, Banff.
also there was a Marriage, same name and year, and place.
This marriage could be your great grandparents.
The same name, died 1933, aged 70yrs, Rathven, Banff.
this would make him born about 1863.
In the 1881 census there is aGeorge Taylor, at home with a single mum, surname Davidson, and her sister, rathven,
If this is your family, it will allshow up on the certificates.
