Postmaster St Martins
« on: Friday 08 September 06 22:49 BST (UK) »

I am researching the Thomas family who came from St Martins Shropshire. My husbands grandfather was John David Thomas born 1866/1867 in St Martins and according to his marriage cert he was a blacksmith. His father also John Thomas profession on the marriage cert is a postmaster.
I think I have found the family on the 1871 to 1881 census but John Snr is said to be a blacksmith as well. Is there anyway I can find out if he also was the postmaster of St Martins?
