Hi
I have a convict transported to Australia who left a, yet unidentified, wife behind and I am trying to trace her and the marriage.
The guy is Abraham Batty b. 1811 Lincolnshire (I have his birth) and he was convicted of stealing a horse of a person from Gloucestershire at the Northampton Assizes.
Now searching though familysearch.com does return three member's submissions for a marriage 30th Dec 1832 at St Andrews...two say Worcester and one says Pershore.
Does anyone have access to either the marriage registers for the two churches or the Bishop's Transcripts in order to see if this marriage really did take place.
