Who did he marry and when? A copy of his marriage cert will give you his age and his fathers name and occupation
There is no Albert Crisp b 1884-1888 Luton or anywhere else in Bedfordshire on either the 1891 or 1901 censuses

Hi
I have checked the full GRO index for a marriage between 1908 -1911 and there was an Emma Louisa Moss (1910) and an Emily Louisa Moss (1908) but the references did not cross match to an Albert Crisp.
It would have been impossible for them to have had 6 children between 1910-1911 (see your last reply) - when was their first child born?
You can now search the full GRO index yourself free of charge at http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx Choose “Complete BMD Index Ranges & Images 1837-1983
The partial index (freebmd) can also be searched on the same website or at http://freebmd.rootsweb.com

Hello - I think these may be yours: birth index references: Herbert E. CRISPE, MOSS, Luton, 3b, 717, MarQ 1912 Reginald S. CRISPE, MOSS, Luton, 3b, 664, JunQ 1916 Louisa CRISPE, MOSS, Luton, 3b, 465, DecQ 1917
I haven't been able to find a plausible marriage of CRISPE and MOSS, but maybe if you get one of those birth certificates they'll confirm the parents' names - and also show if Miss Moss had been married before, which may explain why we're having difficulty finding a marriage. Regards Richard.

Hi,
I found this marriage,
Denzell CRISPE Dec Q 1887 Medway 2a 1001 Rosa Emily DEPROSE with same details.
I couldn't find a fitting birth for Albert CRISPE but I did find this one,
Albert Stanley DEPROSE Jun Q 1886 Strood 2a 651
Here are the family in 1891,
1891 RG12/653 f.58 p.14 Frindsbury, Kent 1 Bowes Rd
Denzell CRISPE Head 24 Stoker Cement Factory Essex Limehouse Rosa E Wife 22 Kent Dover Albert S Son 4 " " Strood Rosa E Daur 2 " " " "
I mention all this because of Albert's middle initial/name, S for Stanley. I found this marriage,
Albert S CRISPE Dec Q 1916 Luton 3b 906 Louisa MOSS with same details.
So if this is Albert was he married to a different MOSS earlier or is there another CRISPE/MOSS pair in Luton at the same time or did the children get registered before the marriage or....... ...getting dizzy
It does seem an odd coincidence if they're not connected.
Regards Daisy

Hi Jim,
I am the grandson of Albert Stanley Crispe and can confirm most of the replies in your previous posts. What is your connection to Albert?
P.S. I have many of the certificates relating to Albert, his father Dansel Crispe, and his spouse Louisa Moss.
Looking forward to your reply
