Hello Joanne

Theres only 2 possibles for Benjamin on 1841 census, no sign of nancy.

Benjamin Leach  61   Hardwick, Glou
Benjamin Leach  58   Uley, Glou

The only other is
Benjamin Leach  36  Cheltenham, Glou

Let me know if you want the details.

Hi Alison,

I think that the Hardwicke one is the correct one, I have Benjamin and Nancy as marrying in Hardwicke and although I have most of their children as probably born in Quedgeley as I said that he might have been, the final child was born in Hardwicke.  I descend from the eldest child and he married in Hardwicke and all his children were born there too.  So, Yeah, I reckon the Hardwicke one is right!  lol!

Please could you give me the details for both the Benjamin in Hardwicke and the one in Uley. The Uley one might help me to solve the problem of finding my connection to the famous relative I supposedly have!

Thanks Alison
