My brick wall in my father's Jarman family is JOb Jarman, born about 1799 (though this varies with different documents) in Clipston Northants. I can't get any further back from him.
The LDS shows his marriage to Mary Knight (who was born in Ashby de la Zouch) as 6 December 1818 at St Margaret, Leicester.
I wonder if anyone has access to the Parish Records of St Margarets, who could give me details of the original entry. I'm hoping there could be a clue in the witnesses - as a rootschatter in Northants has identified a Jarman family which MAY be my Job's. I'm hoping one of this family could be a witness.
I can't get to Leicester, but would be very grateful if anyone could get this information - or could advise me how I could get hold of it myself.
I'll be grateful for any help or suggestions. Thank you.
That's very kind of you Mike. I'll be more than happy with the details. I'm very grateful for the offer, and will keep my fingers crossed that you find something.
OK I've printed off your details I can confirm that the Marriage did take place as 6th. December 1818. This was from two separate resources I have to hand

Thank you very much indeed, Mike. It was kind of you to go to so much trouble, and I am very grateful.
I was hoping the witnesses would have been family members, which might have given me some clues as to Job's background - but it may be that James Hardy was a relative. Hopefully, I'll find something about him.
Thanks again - I'll let you know if I get anywhere with James Hardy.
