thats interesting as i have christina on 1891 living with a chuslum chaplin he is head of the houshold and christina is a lodger along with a harry iliffe also lodger
can you see them on 1891 for me cus is christinas surname iliffe or chaplin on that census,some one done the look up so dont have the image

bit confused by the age of christinas son thomas in 1881
as have him born 1847 in 1851 census
in 1881 he is born 1867,perhaps she had another son also named thomas by jabez and the other son born 1847 was by a diffrent father

1891 census shows the head of household is Christiana not Chuslum, full details:
1891 RG12/2534 fol.100 p.18 10 Hull St, St. Margarets, Leicester
Christiana Chaplin head widow 66 Hosiery Seamer Leics, Hinckley
Harry Iliffe lodger s 20 Hosiery hand Leicester
Christiana Iliffe " s 14 " " "
and 1881: looks as if the above were her grandchildren, well, Christiana aged 14 anyway, with Thomas as her father, Thomas born 1847 as in previous census so it was Thomas' son Thomas who you have as born 1867 in 1881:

Yes. 1871 - I've put ditto marks to show that all were surnamed Choplin (or Chaplin!). It looks as if Christiana's son Tom Iliffe took Jabez' surname Chaplin 1861-1871. It should perhaps have said son's wife for Maria but it doesn't. It doesn't look as if Jabez & C had any other children.
In 1881 Tom is married to Maria but gone back to his Iliffe surname.
Then possibly Tom died and Maria remarried to a widower with a child:
